Today, we’re on a journey of transformation. Leveraging technology and creativity to become a future-ready learning organisation. But for all that change, our strategic ambition is consistently clear and bold, which is to be Asia’s leading financial services partner for a sustainable future.
We invite you to build the bank of the future. Innovate the way we deliver financial services. Work in friendly, supportive teams. Build lasting value in your community. Help people grow their assets, business, and investments. Take your learning as far as you can. Or simply enjoy a vibrant, future-ready career.
Your Opportunity Starts Here.
Group Customer Experience (GCX) Content and Design Enablement (CDE)
Does the idea of solving complex problems by fusing UX methodologies and design thinking excite you?
Your interest in challenging ideas, making the complex simple, and your passion to co-create solutions with customers, colleagues and business leaders will set you up for success.
At OCBC Group Customer Experience (GCX), you will work at the intersection of design, strategy and innovation - transforming complex banking journeys into intuitive, human-centred solutions. Join this multi-disciplinary team recognised for design excellence, where your ideas directly influence how customers experience OCBC across channels and touchpoints.
We're looking for a Visual Designer, Illustration and Motion, for a 12-month full-time contract, to lead illustration and motion output across our GCX portfolio, predominantly consumer banking platforms. Illustration is the primary craft this role is judged on, with motion as a genuine extension of that craft. Connecting your work to the wider visual and design system is a secondary part of the role.
You work on high-visibility production across festive campaigns, pre-login moments, in-app surfaces, and personalised features. Your output should feel distinctly modern, bold, and unexpected for a bank, while working within real technical constraints throughout production.
Through your work, you build visual and motion craft that lasts beyond a single campaign - reusable visual assets, iconography, templates, and a visual system the wider team can extend and adapt across the markets and regions we operate in.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across business, product, technology, brand, and marketing to deliver customer-centric solutions and drive meaningful outcomes across the organisation. Senior stakeholder engagement isn't the core of this role, but as the person leading illustration, motion, and visual output, you should expect some exposure and be able to explain and stand behind your work directly. Within GCX, you will work alongside researchers and designers in a highly collaborative, multi-disciplinary, customer-led environment. Much of the work builds on and extends existing patterns.
We are looking for individuals with the following capabilities. You don't need to meet every point below -
skills and portfolio strength matter more than any single requirement.
Nice to have:
Competitive base salary. A suite of holistic, flexible benefits to suit every lifestyle. Community initiatives. Industry-leading learning and professional development opportunities. Your wellbeing, growth and aspirations are every bit as cared for as the needs of our customers.
