Job summary

Cantina seeks a Visual Data Curation Specialist in Singapore to identify and evaluate image and video sources for our real-time AI models. You will translate model needs into clear sourcing criteria and build a structured catalogue with metadata and quality assessments.

You will collaborate with researchers and engineers to refine selection criteria, document provenance, and improve workflows for efficient data curation across creator platforms.

Qualifications

• Background in film, photography, animation, design, or related visual arts.
• Ability to research, assess sources, and turn findings into recommendations.
• Strong organization and familiarity with digital asset management.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate image and video sources across creator communities and platforms.
• Translate model development priorities into sourcing briefs and criteria.
• Assess content for aesthetics, quality and relevance with defined metadata.
• Build a structured source catalogue with examples and recommendations.
• Identify coverage gaps and propose targeted sourcing approaches.
• Review samples with research and engineering teams, refine criteria.
• Document provenance and usage rights; flag licensing questions.
• Develop repeatable curation workflows and quality guidelines.
