Qualifications

• Recognised law degree and eligible to practise as Advocate & Solicitor in Singapore.
• Valid Practising Certificate, where applicable.
• Experience in civil litigation, criminal law, family law or general practice advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage legal matters independently or under senior lawyer supervision to ensure effective case progression.
• Provide clear legal advice and assistance tailored to clients' specific issues.
• Draft and review legal documents, including correspondence, agreements, affidavits, submissions, and court filings to support case preparation.
• Conduct thorough legal research and prepare detailed legal opinions and case summaries to inform strategy.
• Attend court hearings, conferences, mediations, and client meetings to represent the firm and clients effectively.
• Liaise professionally with clients, opposing counsel, courts, government agencies, and other stakeholders to facilitate case resolution.
• Maintain organized file management and monitor deadlines, court directions, and timelines to ensure compliance.
• Keep clients regularly informed on the status and progress of their legal matters.
• Collaborate closely with paralegals and legal team members to coordinate casework efficiently.
• Perform additional legal and professional duties as assigned by the firm to support overall operations.
