Job summary

NCS is a leading AI Tech Services company with a regional footprint in Asia Pacific. We seek an IT systems specialist to install, configure, patch, and monitor Linux and Windows Server environments, ensuring security and performance. You will support Level 1 engineers and maintain SOPs and documentation.

The role involves generating monthly reports, upgrading firewall/network hardware, and readiness to provide 24/7 standby support as needed. Strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) or Windows Server systems.
• Familiarity with AD/DNS, Splunk, SEP Manager, BeyondTrust.
• Strong networking knowledge (OSI layers, TCP/IP).
• Experience with system monitoring and performance tuning.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Installing and configuring operating systems and common services products.
• Upgrading and patching the operating systems and common services products.
• Perform basic administration and check to ensure system is running as expected in terms of performance and security.
• Generation of Monthly Reports
• Develop & maintain technical and configurations documentation
• Evaluate and upgrade firewall and network hardware and/or firmware
• Support Level 1 Engineers during problem determination and resolution whenever necessary.
• Maintains standard operating procedures (SOP), processes and guidelines.
• Willing to do 24 X 7 standby
