Job summary

NCS Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a Systems Engineer to plan, design, install, test and implement systems in line with specifications and service levels. You will handle configuration and system programming as required.

You will lead a small team, install and configure operating systems and services, apply patches, document configurations, and ensure 24x7 standby support. Strong Linux and Windows Server knowledge, AD/DNS, Splunk, and networking are essential, with good communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Linux or Windows Server systems.
• Familiarity with AD/DNS, Splunk, and endpoint protection tools.
• Strong networking knowledge and ability to monitor, tune performance, and document changes.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, install, test and implement systems per specifications and SLAs.
• Lead a small team and provide guidance to team members.
• Install and configure operating systems and common service products.
• Upgrade and patch operating systems and services.
• Review monthly reports and change requests.
• Develop and maintain technical and configuration documentation.
• Evaluate and upgrade firewall and network hardware/firmware.
• Support Level 1 engineers during problem determination and resolution.
• Maintain SOPs, processes and guidelines.
• Provide technical advice to Services Deliver Manager/Project Manager.
• Coordinate with Vendors/OEM Partners on technical matters.
• Be willing to support 24x7 standby.
