Job summary

Rakuten Asia in Singapore’s CBD seeks a Vice Senior Manager of Ichiba (E‑Commerce) Product to manage, develop, plan and operate existing and new business initiatives by leveraging Rakuten capabilities in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. You will help grow our business through innovative digital marketing solutions.

The role requires 7+ years in digital marketing, business‑level Japanese, people management, and proven cross‑functional project leadership; e‑commerce

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience in digital marketing, from agency, consulting, media platform, or client side.
• Business level Japanese skills are required to communicate with Japanese stakeholders.
• People management experience is required.
• Demonstrated expertise in a wide range of project management and business leadership with stakeholders.
• E-commerce related business experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication with strong presentation and facilitation skills.
• Must be a team leader and a self-starter.

Responsibilities

• Managing Rakuten Promotion Platform (RPP) to drive growth for Rakuten Ichiba merchants and achieve KPIs.
• Acting as the project lead and collaborating with Rakuten internal teams and external partners.
• Build and sustain relationships with business decision makers both internally and externally.
• Ensuring a strong pipeline with Ichiba (E-Commerce) business.
• Build and maintain growth strategy for business sustainability.
• Cultivate team members’ capabilities for their professional growth.
