FP Global is seeking a VP to lead our Singapore treasury function, overseeing cash movements, payments, and onboarding for institutional clients. The role combines client-facing duties with governance of SSI and payment controls, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and strong maker-checker processes.

You will shape treasury operating-models for new clients, collaborate with Fund Accounting, Investor Relations, and Compliance, and contribute to business development and client visits.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting, finance, economics or similar quantitative field.
• 7+ years in financial services with treasury/payments experience.
• Proven experience leading a team.
• Strong knowledge of wire processing, SSI management, and payment controls.
• Experience with global custodians, banks, and paying agents.

We are representing a global fund administration group as it expands its Singapore treasury function. The growth is driven by new real assets client business.

This VP role leads the team that moves client money: capital calls, distributions, investment funding, invoice payments and internal transfers for institutional fund clients. It's a control-heavy, client-facing role. You will own payment governance and SSI integrity, and you will also help shape how new clients' treasury operations are designed and onboarded.

It suits a treasury or payments operations leader from fund services, custody or banking who wants to be closer to clients and to have broader responsibility.

What you'll own

• Treasury operations leadership: lead and develop the Treasury Operations team and set its goals, resourcing and succession plans with the senior managers. Make sure client cash movements are accurate and on time.
• Payment controls and SSI governance: own SSI setup, amendments, approvals and periodic reviews. Do callbacks, review and approve high-value payments and fraud alerts, and keep strong maker-checker controls and approval matrices.
• Client onboarding and design: lead treasury implementation for new clients, covering operating-model design, bank account setup, payment workflows and approval structures.
• Business development support: contribute to client pitches, RFP responses, client visits and operational due diligence reviews.
• Risk and controls: lead on treasury operational risk, payment security and incident management. Coordinate SOC and audit requirements, and drive process improvement.
• Cross-functional partnership: act as the Singapore point of contact for treasury. Work with Fund Accounting, Investor Relations, Trade and OTC Operations, Legal, Compliance and Technology.

What you'll bring

• A degree in accounting, finance, economics or another quantitative field.
• At least 7 years in financial services, with a strong background in treasury operations, cash management, payments or banking operations.
• Proven experience leading and managing a team.
• Solid knowledge of wire processing, payment controls, SSI management, callback procedures and treasury operational risk.
• Experience working with global custodians, correspondent banks, transfer agents or paying agents.
• Confidence dealing directly with clients and senior stakeholders by email, phone and in person.

Preferred

• Fund administration or fund services experience across hedge, private equity, real estate or mutual fund structures. A banking background with strong payments experience will also be considered.
• Experience with client onboarding, treasury operating-model reviews or payment workflow design.
• Knowledge of SWIFT and ISO 20022 messaging, such as MT101, MT103, MT202, MT940, pain.001 and pacs.008.
