Job summary

Amethyst Partners is seeking a VP, Payment and Treasury Operations to lead treasury and payments for private equity and real estate funds in Singapore. You will oversee client onboarding, cash movements, funding, distributions, and payment controls, while ensuring rigorous fraud monitoring and governance.

You will collaborate with fund accounting, investor services, and trade operations teams to deliver integrated treasury solutions, implement operating models, and manage multiple workstreams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years in Treasury Operations, Payment Operations, Cash Management.
• Experience in fund services or asset servicing preferred.
• Experience with client onboarding or project management.

Responsibilities

• Manage client portfolios in private equity/real estate funds for payments and treasury.
• Lead treasury operations including cash movements, funding, distributions, and invoices.
• Oversee setup, openings and client onboarding.
• Review payments, SSI setups, fraud alerts and high-value treasury transactions.
• Act as SME for treasury payment workflows, wire processing and governance.
• Lead onboarding and service implementation incl. operating model and bank accounts.
• Collaborate with fund accounting, investor services, and trade operations teams.
• Perform ad-hoc duties related to payment and treasury operations.

Job description

Our client is an international fund administration that provides a range of services such as middle office operations, Treasury Operations etc to clients in the alternative asset management industry including private equity funds, real estate funds etc. As the business continues to grow, they are looking for VP, Payment and Treasury Operations and the role is based in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Manage client portfolios in private equity/ real estate funds to provide payment and treasury operations to them
• Lead and oversee treasury operations such as client cash movements, investment funding, distributions, invoice payments and other treasury related transactions
• Manage and oversee the set up, new account openings and client onboarding
• Perform callbacks, review and approve payments, SSI setups, fraud risk alerts and high-value treasury transactions.
• Act as subject matter expert for treasury payment workflows, including wire processing, payment controls, approval matrixes, and maker-checker governance.
• Lead and oversee client onboarding and service implementation initiatives, including treasury operating model design, bank account establishment, payment workflows, control frameworks and approval structures
• Collaborate with other teams such as fund accounting team, investor services team, trade operations team to provide integrated solutions to clients
• Other ad-hoc duties related to payment and treasury operatoins

Key requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or other discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in Treasury Operations, Payment Operations, Cash Management etc
• Experience in fund services, asset servicing, fund administration, investment operations is preferred
• Exposure to private equity funds, real estate funds is advantageous
• Experience in client onboarding, implementation, or project management.
• Strong stakeholder management and communications skills
• Strong organizational skills, experience in managing multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Meticulous, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
