Job summary

HSBC Life (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. seeks a Procurement Specialist to lead sourcing from requirements through contract award in Singapore.

You will prepare tender documents, evaluation criteria and approval papers, and guide business in supplier due diligence, onboarding, negotiations and contract documentation. You'll monitor supplier performance, manage risks, and ensure audits, controls and records are audit-ready.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, contract management or supplier relationship management.
• Experience managing tenders, supplier evaluations, negotiations and contract awards.
• Experience using source-to-contract and procure-to-pay systems (Coupa or SAP Ariba).
• Understanding of procurement governance, contract management, supplier performance and third-party risk.
• Experience working with Finance, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Technology and Operations.

• Support audits, risk reviews and remediation activities.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Procurement Specialist.

In this role you will:

• Manage sourcing activities from requirements definition through to contract award.
• Prepare tender documents, evaluation criteria, bid analyses and approval papers.
• Guiding/supporting business in supplier due diligence, onboarding, negotiations and contract documentation.

• Support audits, risk reviews and remediation activities.

To be successful you will need:
