Overview

We are working with several well-established shipowners and ship management companies looking to hire Technical Superintendents / Vessel Managers to oversee the technical operations and safe management of their fleets. Whether your expertise lies in dry bulk, containers, oil tankers, or LPG tankers, we invite you to explore these exciting opportunities.


Responsibilities


  • Oversee daily technical operations of assigned vessels, ensuring safety, compliance, and performance standards are met.

  • Manage preventive maintenance, repairs, and dry-docking, including budget preparation and cost control.

  • Coordinate with onboard crew, shipowners, charterers, and class authorities on technical and operational matters.

  • Monitor vessel performance, machinery condition, and ensure compliance with ISM/ISPS/Environmental regulations.

  • Liaise with suppliers and contractors for spares, services, and repairs.

  • Prepare and conduct vessel inspections, audits, and follow-up on rectifications.

  • Collaborate closely with crewing, purchasing, HSE, and other departments to ensure vessel readiness and compliance.


Qualifications


  • COC Class 1 / 2 (Chief / 2nd Engineer) or relevant marine engineering qualifications preferred.

  • Prior sailing experience and technical shore-based experience as a Technical Superintendent or Vessel Manager.

  • Experience with one or more vessel types: bulk carriers, container vessels, oil tankers, or LPG tankers.

  • Strong knowledge of classification society rules, flag state requirements, and industry standards.

  • Good communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Willingness to travel for vessel inspections and dry-docking supervision as required.
