CTRL Digital is seeking a video editor to cut vertical short-form content for multiple client brands and our own channel. You’ll edit from provided footage and briefs, crafting hooks, pacing, subtitles, sound design, and motion text while maintaining each brand’s distinct look and voice.

You should be able to explain why edits work for retention, write concise hooks or scripts, and communicate reliably within Singapore business hours.

Qualifications

• Experience editing short-form vertical video for brands.
• Ability to explain why an edit works beyond aesthetics.
• Sharp hook or short script writing ability.
• Reliable async communication and hitting deadlines.
• Strong English skills and Singapore-hours alignment.

Responsibilities

• Edit vertical short-form videos across client brands’ channels.
• Incorporate hooks, pacing, subtitles, sound design, and motion text.
• Maintain each brand’s look and voice, and manage recurring series.
• Recut top-performing organic videos into hook variants for paid ads.
• Deliver within a 24–48 hour turnaround and accommodate up to two revision rounds.
