Job summary

CTRL Digital is seeking a video editor to cut vertical short-form content for multiple client brands and our own channel. You’ll edit from provided footage and briefs, crafting hooks, pacing, subtitles, sound design, and motion text while maintaining each brand’s distinct look and voice.

You should be able to explain why edits work for retention, write concise hooks or scripts, and communicate reliably within Singapore business hours.

Responsibilities

• Recut top-performing organic videos into hook variants for paid ads.
• Deliver within a 24–48 hour turnaround and accommodate up to two revision rounds.

We’re looking for a video editor who cuts for the scroll. You’ll turn raw footage and a brief into short-form video that stops thumbs, for a mix of consumer brands and our own channel. You’ll work directly with the people shaping the ideas.

What you’ll do

• Edit vertical short-form videos across our client brands channels
• Work from footage and a brief supplied by the team, with hooks, pacing, subtitles, sound design and motion text as standard
• Keep each brand’s look and voice distinct, including recurring series instead of one-off posts
• Recut top-performing organic videos into hook variants for paid ads
• Deliver quickly, with a 24–48 hour turnaround and up to two rounds of revisions

What we need from you

• Experience editing short-form vertical video for brands (please submit your portfolio to be considered)
• You understand retention and can explain why an edit works, not just that it looks good
• You can write a sharp hook or short script
• Reliable async communication, with deadlines hit without chasing
• Strong English sills
• Overlap with Singapore business hours
• Your own computer and stable internet
