Job summary

Good Gear Solution Pte Ltd in Tuas, Singapore invites a Production Engineer to support valve-related production, inspection, testing, servicing and quality documentation. You will work hands-on with valves and test equipment while maintaining accurate records for customer and quality audits.

The role requires strong documentation skills, familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 and API standards, and the ability to coordinate with engineering and quality teams to ensure compliant, traceable results.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing or related field.
• Experience with industrial valves, pressure testing or valve servicing preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 9001, API standards is advantageous.
• Strong documentation skills with Word/Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, testing, troubleshooting and servicing of industrial valves.
• Operate valve test bench, conduct pressure and functional tests, record results.
• Carry out incoming, in-process and final inspections of valves and components.
• Prepare inspection reports, test records and certificates.
• Organize documentation for customer and quality audits.
• Ensure calibration, traceability and audit documentation.
• Assist with NCRs, root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with production, engineering and quality teams to meet requirements.
• Support on-site witnessing of valve inspection and testing.
• Adhere to quality, safety and PPE requirements.
