Job summary

On The Way To Success is seeking a Quality Engineer for Precision Engineering in West Singapore. You will ensure IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 compliance, conduct audits, and manage quality documentation to support production excellence.

The role covers in-process and final inspections, PPAP readiness, and leading corrective actions with cross-functional teams. Diploma or degree in mechanical/industrial engineering with 3–5 years QA/QC is preferred, plus familiarity with CMM and GD&T.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years' experience in QA/QC, preferably in precision engineering or metal fabrication.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Manage QMS and ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and customer requirements.
• Conduct internal/customer audits and maintain quality documentation.
• Handle incoming, in-process and final inspections, including FAI and PPAP.
• Investigate quality issues and lead RCA, 8D and corrective actions.
• Work with Production, Tooling and Engineering teams to resolve stamping defects.
• Support quality improvement activities such as SPC, CPK and MSA.
• Handle customer complaints and monitor supplier quality.
• Prepare quality reports and analyse defect trends.
