Job summary

BEENEXT CAPITAL MANAGEMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a detail-oriented Valuation & Portfolio Operations Associate to support fund operations, portfolio monitoring, valuation and audit coordination across Management, Investment, IT, Finance and Compliance teams, the Fund Administrator, portfolio companies and external auditors.

The role will develop and implement scalable data management systems, leveraging AI and digital tools to streamline reporting and workflows across the organization.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of relevant working experience in fund operations, investment operations, accounting, audit, valuation or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail with financial data.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong follow-up and coordination across internal teams, portfolio companies and external service providers.
• Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team member.
• Comfortable with recurring, deadline-driven and project-based work.
• Proficient Excel skills and willingness to learn new digital tools.
• Curiosity about technology and AI to improve workflows.
• Experience with valuation, fund accounting or audit processes would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain and distribute portfolio company lists for each fund.
• Update portfolio records including investments, fundraising activities, share transfers and ownership changes.
• Coordinate with the Investment Team to ensure portfolio information is accurate and up to date.
• Liaise with the Fund Administrator on changes to fund shareholding and portfolio company information.
• Maintain accurate records of fund-related deposits and withdrawals, including investments and distributions.
• Reconcile monthly records based on bank statements and other documents.
• Coordinate with Investment Partners and portfolio companies to obtain annual trial balances and financial information.
• Prepare valuation-related schedules and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate investment confirmation requests with external auditors and track responses.
• Assist with auditor queries and ensure timely information delivery.
