Job summary

Activate Interactive Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a seasoned service designer/UX researcher to lead discovery, translating ambiguous ideas into actionable requirements for a digital tool. The role combines applied service design with generative discovery to better inform the solution.

You will run workshops, map end-to-end processes, identify friction points, and synthesize insights to guide design. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract in Singapore.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in service design, UX research, or product discovery.
• Strong generative research and synthesis skills to turn inputs into insights.
• Comfort designing for process/workflow problems and facilitating workshops.

Responsibilities

• Run discovery with agency teams to understand how they form ideas and gather requirements.
• Map end-to-end processes from idea to defined requirements and surface gaps.
• Identify patterns and unmet needs, synthesize into clear insights.
• Translate findings into design principles and requirements for a tool/agent.
• Prototype and test interventions to validate buildable clarity.
• Facilitate workshops to frame problems and align stakeholders.
