Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking a technically skilled engineer to support customers and the Sales team in evaluating application possibilities and designing vacuum systems. You will propose suitable technical solutions, select instruments and components to meet requirements, and handle inquiries.

You will also lead FAT and T&C activities, coordinate both small and large systems, supervise technicians, and train customers. Territorial coverage includes Singapore, Indonesia and the Philippines.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers and assist the Sales team by engaging customers to evaluate application possibilities, calculate and design vacuum systems by proposing suitable technical solutions.
• Handle sales inquiries and generate proposals related to the sale of vacuum pumps and systems.
• Support Sales team by engaging customers daily to follow up on quotations and technical clarification.
• Act as the single point of contact for technical clarifications for customers, contractors and distributors.
• Track and report quote activities; participate in the Monthly Reporting process.
• Responsible for the engineering, fabrication and performance of small and medium vacuum systems.
• Coordinate and perform large systems where the system is built by other Busch Companies.
• Supervise and guide the system technician in assembling systems involving pipe fittings, valves, instruments, skid frames, control panels and testing/painting.
• Responsible for Final Acceptance Testing (FAT) in the production facility and Testing & Commissioning (T&C) at the customer site.
• Train customers in systems operation as required.
• Territorial support scope includes Singapore, Indonesia and the Philippines.

Job description

• Responsible for providing technical support to the customer. Supporting Sales team by engaging customers to evaluate application possibilities, calculate and design vacuum systems by proposing suitable technical solutions. This also includes selecting suitable instruments and components to meet the customer’s requirements and specifications.
• Handling sales inquiries and generating proposals relating to the sale of vacuum pumps & systems.
• Support Sales team by engaging the customers on a day-to-day basis to follow up on quotations and technical clarification.
• Act as the single point of contact for technical clarifications for customers, contractors and distributors.
• Track and report quote activities; participate in Monthly Reporting process.
• Responsible for the engineering, fabrication and performance of small and medium vacuum systems.
• Responsible for the coordination and performance of large systems where the system is built by other Busch Companies.
• Supervise and provide necessary guidance to the system technician to execute system assembly involving pipe fittings, valves, instruments, skid frames, control panel and up to testing and painting.
• Be responsible for Final Acceptance Testing (FAT) in system production facility and Testing & Commissioning (T&C) at customer site.
• Training of customers in systems operation as required.
• The scope of territorial support includes Singapore, Indonesia and the Philippines.
