Job summary

CONNECT ENERGY SERVICES PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a lead engineer to direct the technical engineering of UPW systems for semiconductor Frontend FAB facilities, ensuring design, installation and commissioning meet project standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of site experience in FMCS and UPW systems.
• Hands-on supervision of on-site construction and subcontractor management.
• Licenses/qualifications compliant with local regulations and authorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical engineering of UPW systems for semiconductor Frontend FAB facilities to ensure operational excellence
• Prepare and review UPW system design deliverables, including drawings, P&IDs, specifications, and technical submissions to meet project requirements
• Coordinate instrumentation design, installation, FMCS interfaces, testing, and commissioning activities to ensure seamless system integration
• Support site management by supervising installation, resolving technical issues, and facilitating cross-disciplinary coordination for project success
• Ensure system design, installation, and handover comply with project specifications, quality standards, and programme timelines
• Perform on-site system supervision independently and coordinate effectively with project teams, contractors, and clients to maintain workflow and safety
• Read and interpret control system drawings and diagrams to guide construction and installation activities accurately
• Manage subcontractors during on-site construction to ensure adherence to engineering standards and project schedules
• Apply knowledge of construction processes, work sequencing, and on-site interface coordination to optimize project execution
• Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, subcontractors, clients, and regulatory authorities to facilitate smooth project operations
• Adapt to project needs by performing on-site and shift work as required to support continuous progress

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 3 or more years of site experience in FMCS and UPW systems
• Hands-on experience in on-site construction supervision and subcontractor management for engineering systems
• Possession of qualifications and licenses in compliance with applicable local regulations and authority requirements
