Job summary

CTCI SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Diploma-qualified engineer to support the UPW systems for Front-End Semiconductor FAB facilities in Singapore. You will contribute to design, documentation, vendor coordination, site support, testing and commissioning.

You will read PFDs and P&IDs, coordinate with vendors and clients, track design changes, and assist with RFIs and commissioning activities on site, including water quality verification and project progress tracking.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Associate Degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in UPW, semiconductor FAB or high-tech facility projects is preferred.
• Hands-on experience in site construction coordination and subcontractor management.

Responsibilities

• UPW system design support including capacity, water quality, process, equipment, piping and basic engineering calculations.
• Prepare and review PFDs, P&IDs, layouts, equipment specs and data sheets.
• Support Vendor Data Review, technical documentation and clarifications to meet design requirements.
• Coordinate interfaces between UPW and Process Equipment, Wastewater, Water Reclamation, Facilities, Electrical and I&C systems.
• Assist RFIs, site design issues, equipment and piping installation checks, and track design changes.
• Participate in UPW flushing, testing, commissioning and water quality verification.
• Support progress tracking across design, procurement, construction and commissioning.

Job Summary

Responsible for supporting the technical engineering and project execution of Ultrapure Water (UPW) systems for Front-End Semiconductor FAB facilities, covering design, documentation, vendor coordination, site support, testing and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

• UPW System Design Support: Assist with UPW system design, including capacity, water quality, process, equipment, piping and basic engineering calculations.


• Engineering Documentation: Prepare and review PFDs, P&IDs, layouts, equipment specifications, data sheets, calculations and related design documents.


• Vendor Data & Technical Coordination: Support Vendor Data Review, technical documentation, document tracking and technical clarifications to ensure vendor information meets design requirements.


• Interface Coordination: Support interfaces between UPW and Process Equipment, Wastewater, Water Reclamation, Facilities, Electrical and I&C systems.


• Site & Design Change Support: Assist with RFIs, site design issues, equipment and piping installation checks, and tracking of design changes.


• Testing & Commissioning: Participate in UPW flushing, testing, commissioning, performance testing and water quality verification.


• Project Progress & Issue Tracking: Support design, procurement, construction and commissioning progress tracking, including action items and technical issue follow-up.


• Technical Development: Work under the guidance of the Lead Engineer and coordinate with design, construction, vendor and Client teams while developing expertise in UPW systems.

Requirements

• Diploma / Associate Degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related field.


• Experience in UPW, semiconductor FAB or high‑tech facility projects is preferred.


• Hands‑on experience in site construction coordination, subcontractor management and engineering system installation.


• Able to read and interpret PFDs, P&IDs, engineering drawings and control system diagrams.


• Familiar with construction processes, work sequencing and multidisciplinary site interface coordination.


• Able to work independently on site and coordinate effectively with project teams, contractors, Clients and suppliers.


• Strong communication and teamwork skills, including coordination with site personnel and relevant authorities.


• Willing to perform site‑based and shift work as required by project needs.


• Relevant qualifications and licences must comply with applicable Singapore laws and regulatory requirements.


• Proficient in English and Chinese; additional language skills are an advantage.
