Job summary

PhillipCapital is seeking an Operations Executive to manage Unit Trust dividend processing and transfer activities, ensuring accuracy and timely execution across fund houses and platform aggregators.

You will validate declarations, coordinate with custodians and transfer agents, handle exceptions, and contribute to process improvements, SOP maintenance, and client servicing while adhering to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in finance or engineering preferred.
• 2 years of trade settlement/operations experience in wealth management; fresh graduates may apply.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• High degree of accuracy and effective communication with stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of basic coding, AI adoption, and/or RPA is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Process Unit Trust dividend distributions and transfers.
• Validate dividend declarations, entitlement records, and distributions.
• Coordinate with fund managers, custodians, and transfer agents.
• Handle transfer transactions including account-to-account transfers and ownership changes.
• Verify transfer documentation for regulatory and internal requirements.
• Monitor subscriptions, redemptions, and switching related to transfers.
• Investigate discrepancies and resolve dividend or transfer issues.
• Assist with automation and system enhancements to improve accuracy.
• Maintain up-to-date SOPs for Unit Trust operations.
