Capital Green is seeking an Underwriting Assistant to join our General Insurance / Reinsurance team in Singapore. You will support Underwriters across submission, quotation, renewal and binding activities, coordinate quotes with shared services, and ensure accurate policy processing and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting underwriting submissions, quotations, renewals and binding processes.
• Coordinate quote creation and name clearance with shared services teams.
• Maintain accurate underwriting documentation and data quality.

Responsibilities

• Support Underwriters through submission, quotation, renewal and binding process.
• Coordinate quote creation and name clearance activities with shared services teams.
• Ensure quotations are accurately and promptly bound or declined in the system.
• Support management of underwriting account portfolios.
• Coordinate smooth handover of new and renewed accounts for policy processing.
• Process premiums accurately and within required timelines.
• Ensure correct reinsurance premiums, commissions and tax bookings.
• Maintain complete underwriting documentation in the Document Management System.
• Support Credit Control with premium collection and monitoring.
• Maintain high standards of system and data accuracy.
• Process mid-term endorsements and policy amendments.
• Support issuance of Certificates of Insurance.
• Monitor policy issuance and outstanding premium collection.
• Handle requests from brokers and clients, escalating as needed.
• Coordinate with Underwriting, Middle Office and Shared Services teams.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders, brokers and external counterparts.
• Support process improvement projects and UAT.
• Provide regular reporting on policy issuance progress.
• Assist onboarding and training of new team members.
• Develop strong working knowledge of underwriting systems, processes and guidelines.
