VDL Enabling Technologies Group (Singapore) is seeking a Precision Machinist on a 1-year contract to operate ultra-precision CNC centers and achieve tight tolerances on high-precision components.

You will set up machines, verify programs, inspect parts, and perform basic preventive maintenance while adhering to 5S and safety standards. Candidates should have experience with high-precision machines and GD&T knowledge, along with metrology skills.

Competenze

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, tolerances and surface finishes.
• Knowledge of GD&T principles and inspection methods.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments for in-process verification.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical/electrical issues and perform maintenance.

Mansioni

• Set up and operate ultra-precision CNC machines to manufacture components.
• Verify programs, perform test runs and inspect parts for conformance.
• Mount and align workpieces using fixtures and precision tooling.
• Monitor tooling, coolant, and machine conditions to ensure stability.
• Maintain 5S housekeeping and comply with safety regulations.
