Job summary

Mavericks Consulting PTE. LTD. is seeking a UX Designer to join our Singapore team.

You will work with cross-functional teams to craft user-centred designs and facilitate UX workshops that uncover needs and pain points. Your expertise will translate research into compelling interfaces and design systems. The role emphasizes collaboration, continuous learning, and delivering end-to-end design artifacts—from personas and user flows to prototypes—while contributing to a dynamic, inclusive workplace

Qualifications

• Experience creating visually appealing user-centred designs
• Familiarity with interaction design, information architecture and design software
• Experience with Agile & Lean practices
• Strong attention to detail and aesthetics with focus on branding
• Strong communication skills to articulate ideas to stakeholders
• Experience conducting user research using various methods
• Experience conducting concept and usability tests with end-users

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Working as part of a cross-functional team to achieve organisational success through strategic digital products, services & processes
• Facilitating inception and UX design workshops to uncover needs and pain points
• Creating user-centred designs through iterative collaboration to achieve strategic brand goals and seamless user experience
• Continuously incorporating customer feedback, usage metrics, and findings from concept and usability tests into your product designs
• Delivering design artifacts including personas, user flows, wireframes, prototypes and mockups for identified solutions
• Translating design requirements by providing style guides, design systems, design patterns and aesthetically attractive user interfaces
• Actively contributing to the company with your ideas and passion
• Creating and maintaining a dynamic and inclusive work environment
• Being flexible and open to feedback
• Adopting a positive learning and growth mindset in all areas of your work

The Qualifications to To Be A Maverick

1. Minimum Qualifications

• Some experience with creating visually appealing user-centred designs
• Familiarity with interaction design, information architecture and proficiency in design software (e.g. Invision, Balsamiq, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite)
• Experience with Agile & Lean practice
• Strong attention to detail, an eye for aesthetics and a focus on strategic branding
• Strong communication skills and be able to clearly articulate ideas, designs, and suggestions to stakeholders
• Experience conducting user research using various suitable methods (e.g. user interviews, surveys, desk research)
• Experience in conducting concept and usability tests with proxy/end-users

2. Desirable Qualifications

• Experience collaborating effectively with product, engineering, and management teams to deliver the desired outcome of high value
• Prior experience in digital products / projects (Web & mobile)
• Knowledge of frontend development technologies (e.g. HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Angular)
• Experience facilitating design workshops for new or existing solutions
