Job summary

Mavericks Consulting in Singapore seeks a seasoned software engineer to join a high-performing, cross-functional team. You will emphasize stakeholder empathy, drive Agile practices (TDD, CI/CD), and deliver robust front-end and back-end solutions that scale.

You’ll collaborate with talented colleagues, own outcomes, and help the team learn and improve continuously. The role is based in Singapore with a strong work-life balance and visa support as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in developing various applications.
• Experience in high-performance cross-functional Agile teams.
• Experience with clean code, test automation, and readable code.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end architecture.
• Delivered at least one large-scale production project.
• Experience in backend and frontend development (Web/Mobile/Cloud).
• Deep understanding of at least one programming language and paradigm (OOP/FP).

• Championing best Agile and software engineering practices (e.g. Test-Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration/ Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), etc.) to develop high-quality products and solutions

The Qualifications To Be a Maverick

• Minimum Qualifications
• At least 5 years of experience in developing various applications
• Worked in high performance and cross-functional Agile software engineering teams that used practices like Kanban/Scrum/Lean/XP, Test Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration/ Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), etc.
• Experienced in using clean code practices, test automation and writing readable, maintainable code
• Good understanding of end-to-end application architecture
• Delivered at least one large-scale project to production
• Experienced in backend and frontend development (e.g. Web, Mobile, Cloud, etc.)
• Deep understanding of at least one programming language and at least one programming paradigm (OOP, FP)

2. Desirable Qualifications

• Experience with microservices architecture
• Experience with DevOps practices and Automation tools
