Job summary

Astek Singapore Innovation Technology Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Junior UI/UX Designer to grow into next-generation digital experiences, including AI-assisted and chatbot interactions. You’ll work on core UX tasks—research, flows, wireframes, prototypes—while learning how conversational interfaces shape user behaviour.

This role focuses on strong UX fundamentals and curiosity about AI, with opportunities to explore conversational design from an end-user perspective.

Responsibilities

• Design intuitive UI/UX experiences across web and mobile touchpoints.
• Map user journeys, create wireframes, prototypes, and interaction flows.
• Support the design of conversational experiences (chatbot flows, prompts, fallbacks).
• Translate user and business needs into clear, user-centric design solutions.
• Collaborate with product managers, business teams, and engineers to deliver cohesive experiences.
• Participate in requirement gathering, design discussions, and usability reviews.
• Analyze user feedback and conversation data to improve interaction quality.
• Contribute to design documentation, standards, and best practices.

We’re looking for a Junior UI/UX Designer (1–2 years’ experience) who is excited to grow into designing next‑generation digital experiences, including AI‑assisted and chatbot interactions. You’ll work on core UX tasks—research, flows, wireframes, prototypes—while also learning how conversational interfaces shape user behaviour and service journeys.

This role is ideal for someone with strong UX fundamentals who’s curious about how AI can enhance user experience, and who wants to explore conversational design from an end‑user perspective (no technical AI background required).

What You’ll Do

• Design intuitive UI/UX experiences across web and mobile touchpoint
• Map user journeys, create wireframes, prototypes, and interaction flows
• Support the design of simple conversational experiences (chatbot flows, prompts, fallback paths)
• Translate user and business needs into clear, user‑centric design solutions
• Work closely with product managers, business teams, and engineers to deliver cohesive experiences
• Participate in requirement gathering, design discussions, and usability reviews
• Analyse user feedback and conversation data to improve interaction quality
• Contribute to design documentation, standards, and best practices

What You Bring

• 1–2 years of experience in UI/UX Design, Product Design, or Interaction Design
• Strong fundamentals in user‑centered design and design thinking
• Good communication, storytelling, and UX writing skills
• Curiosity about AI, chatbots, and how users interact with conversational interfaces
• Basic familiarity with prompts, LLMs, or generative AI tools (nice to have, not required)
• Ability to work independently with cross‑functional teams
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and iterating quickly

• Experience with chatbot platforms or conversational UI
