Job summary

MMD Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a UI & UX designer to strengthen our design team for TV and AVA products. You will merge brand design methods with intuitive interfaces to enhance user experience and visual identity.

You will collaborate with product managers, brand guardians and software teams from concept to implementation across software and platforms, delivering user-friendly experiences for everyday users.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as UX/UI designer or similar.
• Strong portfolio of end-to-end design projects.
• Experience in mobile apps (iOS/Android) and mobile guidelines.
• Proficient in design software: Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator.
• Deep knowledge of user-centered design and usability testing.
• Excellent communication to explain design choices.
• Familiar with interaction design and information architecture.
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS.
• BSc in Design or related TV/AVA experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understand product specifications and user psychology.
• Run user research, usability testing, and analyze feedback to improve product design.
• Define interaction model, create wireframes, user flows, and storyboards to map out navigation.
• Build high-fidelity prototypes using tools like Figma and Adobe XD.
• Design interfaces for AI features like chat prompts, dynamic outputs, and real-time data visualizations.
• Turn complex AI behaviors into simple, clear, and predictable experiences for everyday users.
• Communicate design ideas and prototypes to developers, mobile engineers, and AI/ML developers.
• Work closely with other UI& UX designers to implement attractive designs.
• Keep abreast of competitor products and industry trends

We are looking for a UI & UX designer, to further strengthen our design team for TV and AVA (Audio Video Accessories) line of products. With the application of brand design methodologies, you will combine interfaces and workflows in enhancing overall user experience and promoting a strong visual identity.

You will work closely with other functional stakeholders such as product managers, brand guardians and software development teams, from design conceptualization to final implementation in software and platforms.

In this role, you should be an analytical and creative designer who is able to grasp user needs and solve problems. A strong portfolio of successful UX for projects and mobile applications is essential.

Ultimately, you will make our products more user-friendly and intuitive to differentiate from our competition, and to attract and retain customers.

Requirements and skills

• Proven experience as a UX Designer, UI Designeror similar role.
• A robust portfolio showcasing end-to-enddesign projects.
• Strong preference for experience in crafting intuitive mobile applications (iOS and Android) and knowledge of mobile design guidelines for Apple iOS and Google Android.
• Proficient in design software (e.g. AdobeXD, Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator etc.)
• Deep knowledge of user-centered design principles and usability testing.
• Great communication skills to explain design choices to other functional stakeholders.
• Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS
• BSc in Design or prior experience in TV and AVA industries will be relevant but not a pre-requisite
