Job summary

PERSOL OUTSOURCING SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. invites applications for a 1 year contract role based in Boon Lay. The position involves hands-on design of electronic hardware for drones, including power distribution, sensor interfaces, and control electronics.

Responsibilities include UAV system integration, PCB layout development, EMI/EMC mitigation, and hardware-software bring-up. Training is available for applicants with limited drone experience; basic soldering and PCB work are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
• 1-2 years of experience in drone assembly roles will be an advantage.
• Candidates without experience may apply as training will be provided.
• Sound understanding of electronic design principles, including sensor interfaces, power distribution, and communication modules.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electronic hardware components, including power distribution boards and sensor interfaces.
• Perform system integration of UAV subsystems such as flight controllers, ESCs, motors, GPS modules, and payloads.
• Develop schematics, PCB layouts, wiring harnesses, and connector interfaces.
• Conduct power budgeting, battery management analysis, and EMI/EMC mitigation and grounding practices.
• Support embedded systems bring-up, debugging, and hardware-software integration activities.
• Plan and execute laboratory and field testing to evaluate system performance and environmental compliance.
• Diagnose hardware issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage component selection, BOM, lifecycle considerations, and supplier coordination.
• Prepare, review, and maintain design files, test reports, and interface control documents.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
