Job summary

PERSOL Outsourcing in Singapore is seeking a hardware engineer for a 1 year contract at Boon Lay to design and develop electronic hardware for UAV systems.

You will work on power distribution boards, sensor interfaces, PCBs, wiring, and EMI/EMC mitigation, focusing on integration and testing.

1–2 years in drone assembly is helpful; training is provided and a completion bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering or related field.
• 1–2 years drone assembly experience is advantageous.
• Experience soldering and PCB assembly is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electronic hardware components for UAV systems.
• Integrate UAV subsystems including flight controllers and sensors.
• Create schematics and PCB layouts, wiring harnesses, interfaces.
• Conduct power budgeting, EMI/EMC mitigation, grounding, signal integrity.
• Support embedded bring-up and hardware-software integration.
• Plan and perform lab and field testing for performance and safety.
• Diagnose hardware issues and implement corrective actions.
• Manage BOMs, components lifecycle, and supplier coordination.
• Prepare and maintain design docs and test reports.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
