Job summary
ST Engineering in Singapore is seeking a software engineer to contribute to next-generation UAS for defence. You will work on mission-critical software for autonomous flight, ground control, and simulation.
You will gather requirements, design robust software, perform testing, and participate in code reviews in a multidisciplinary team. Familiarity with Visual Studio, .NET, Git, and DevOps is preferred, with opportunities for overseas deployment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/Engineering/Physics/Mathematics or equivalent.
- Singapore citizenship is required.
- Familiarity with Visual Studio and .NET.
- Experience with Git source control.
- Knowledge of SDLC: Waterfall or Agile.
- Strong testing knowledge.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Team player in multidisciplinary environment.
- Willing to travel overseas or long-term deployment.
- Candidates with internships or project work encouraged.
Responsibilities
- Gather requirements and define software specifications for UAS.
- Design and develop robust, scalable software meeting aerospace standards.
- Develop software for embedded real-time or ground control/simulation domains.
- Perform testing and validation of software components.
- Conduct code reviews and promote continuous improvement.
