Job summary

ST Engineering in Singapore seeks experienced Software Engineer(s) to design, develop, and maintain mission-critical software for aircraft applications. You will drive end-to-end SDLC, collaborate across teams, and lead real-time systems integration with avionics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/CE or equivalent.
• Singapore citizenship is required for this position.
• Proficient in C/C++, Python and .NET, with willingness to learn other technologies.
• Experience developing production-quality, scalable, multi-threaded systems.
• Familiarity with Agile, version control, software test frameworks and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define software specifications for aircraft mission-critical systems.
• Lead the design and development of robust, scalable software solutions that meet aerospace standards and regulatory requirements.
• Lead the implementation of real-time software, data processing software, and control systems for onboard/offboard aircraft applications.
• Oversee and conduct thorough testing and validation to ensure reliability, safety, and performance.
• Lead and participate in DevOps/DevSecOps activities, including CI, deployment automation, and security enhancements.
• Document design processes, testing, analytics, and troubleshooting.
• Conduct code reviews and promote continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
• Work with hardware/firmware engineers to integrate software with onboard avionics.
