Job summary

FUKUYAMA ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking a TBM Operator in Singapore to support the M&E team with assembly/disassembly of the TBM and to manage all TBM operations including line and grade maintenance, steering, and segment erector control.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years TBM operating experience, with additional advantage for slurry plant exposure. A BCSS or BCSS-T certificate is required to ensure safe supervision on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of TBM operator experience.
• Certificate in Building Construction Supervisors Safety Course (BCSS) or BCSS-T.
• Experience with slurry plant is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist M & E team with assembly and disassembly of TBM.
• Operate TBM including line and grade maintenance, steering, and segment erector operations.
• Conduct cutterhead and tool inspections during drive; respond to TBM emergencies.
• Identify and communicate safety hazards in the working environment.

Job description

1) Assist M & E team with assembly and disassembly of TBM

2) All aspects of TBM operation including maintenance of line and grade of the tunnel while steering the TBM, as well as operation of the segment erector and annular grouting systems

3) Undertake cutterhead and tool inspection during the drive, take charge of emergency situations within the TBM

4) Identify and communicate any and all working environment safety hazards

5) Minimum 3 years experience as a TBM Operator. Experience in Slurry Plant is also an additional advantage

6) Possess certificate in Building Construction Supervsiors Safety Course (BCSS) and Building Construction Supervisors Safety Course (BCSS-T)
