Job summary

Rakuten Asia Pte Ltd seeks a seasoned Treasury/Finance professional to oversee cash operations, FX hedging, and management accounting for Rakuten Travel Xchange. You will partner with senior leadership to stabilize the global financial infrastructure and support international growth.

Qualifications

• Degree in finance, accounting or economics.
• Professional treasury or corporate finance experience.
• Strong FX hedging, hedge accounting and analysis skills.
• Experience with bank infrastructure projects and KYC/AML.
• Excellent Excel and ERP/system proficiency.
• Clear communication for senior management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily/weekly cash operations and FX exposure decisions.
• Review cash flow reports and determine FX timing.
• Manage USD receivables and JPY payables and hedge timing.
• Review weekly payment runs and act as escalation point for banks.
• Drive bank infrastructure projects like account concentration.
• Lead management accounting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Prepare monthly budget commentary and forecasts.
• Ensure FX P&L accuracy in reports and reflect in statements.
• Lead FX hedge program; monitor contracts and hedge policy.
• Report FX risk positions to Finance Manager and senior management.
• Work with ERP/treasury systems and communicate insights to non-finance teams.
