Our client is a well established Consumer business and they are now seeking a Treasury Assistant Manager to join them. This is a newly created position that will commence as a 1-year contract.
Reporting directly to the Treasury Lead, this role balances high-visibility transformation projects with core group liquidity operations across a multi-entity environment. Half of the portfolio (50%) is dedicated to systems and digital transformation, where you will lead the end-to-end implementation and rollout of the Treasury Management System (TMS) alongside AI-driven automation projects. Another 30% focuses on group treasury operations, managing daily cash positioning, end-to-end funding workflows, debt financing strategies, and regulatory compliance. The remaining 20% covers regional country support, partnering with regional operating entities to mitigate FX and settlement risks, optimize working capital, and strengthen internal governance. The ideal candidate is sharp, proactive and able to work independently.
You must possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a professional qualification like CA or ACCA, backed by a strict minimum of 6 years of treasury experience. A non-negotiable requirement for this role is proven expertise in executing debt financing operations alongside deep technical knowledge of safeguarding rules, high-volume financial flows, and treasury management systems. Exceptional stakeholder management skills and a resilient, analytical mindset are essential to navigate ambiguity under pressure.
Why is this a good role.
This position offers substantial regional exposure and the chance to lead critical financial infrastructure initiatives. It provides an ideal platform for a seasoned treasury professional to drive high-impact automation projects and shape capital allocation strategies. You will work alongside dynamic, cross-functional teams, sharpening your expertise in a highly sophisticated regulatory and financial landscape.
