Job summary

WGT Group in Singapore is seeking a hands-on Equipment Service Engineer to support the installation, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and servicing of automation equipment and systems. The role requires reading electrical/electronic circuits, working with robot software and PC software, and travel for overseas assignments on short notice.

Diploma/Degree in Engineering and 3 years' experience are required, along with strong problem-solving and customer service skills.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in engineering or related field.
At least 3 years' experience in equipment servicing, automation systems, or machine maintenance.
Ability to read electrical/electronic circuits and machine log files.
Familiar with robot software, PC software setup, and electrical components such as servo motors and robots.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Willingness to travel for overseas assignments on short notice.

Responsibilities

Install, test, commission, and maintain automation systems and equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic components, controllers, and software.
Analyze failures and identify root causes for resolution.
Provide onsite and remote technical support within SLA timelines.
Coordinate with customers and internal teams to resolve issues.
Prepare service reports and documentation.
Conduct onsite machine testing to meet customer requirements.
