Job summary

National University of Singapore is seeking an experienced Care Manager (NCU) to support students and staff affected by sexual misconduct. You will provide timely, person-centered care, coordinate access to services, and contribute to prevention and outreach efforts.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least three years’ experience in case management or counselling, with strong stakeholder coordination and a commitment to confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in social work, counselling, psychology or related field.
• At least three years of relevant experience in case management, counselling, social services or crisis support.
• Experience providing trauma-informed support, especially to individuals affected by sexual misconduct or distressing experiences.
• Strong case management, assessment and stakeholder-coordination skills.
• Able to engage sensitively with students and staff from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Respond sensitively and promptly to individuals contacting NCU via telephone, email, walk-ins, referrals, and other channels.
• Conduct intake interviews and assess clients’ immediate needs, safety concerns and support requirements.
• Provide trauma-informed case management and ongoing psychosocial support with confidentiality.
• Assist clients in understanding options and accessing internal and external services.
• Coordinate referrals and liaise with NUS departments, healthcare providers, community agencies and external parties as needed.
• Maintain accurate, timely, confidential case notes and documentation.
• Participate in rotating on-call roster, including after-hours support and on-site activation.
• Collaborate with NCU and other NUS colleagues for coordinated care.
• Contribute knowledge and support to NCU’s education, training, engagement initiatives.
• Support service reviews and programme evaluation as required.
