Job summary

hmm (sg) pte. ltd. is seeking an experienced Transshipment Operations Coordinator to manage Singapore inbound and outbound activities and oversee regional staff.

You will monitor dwell time, optimize costs, produce reports, and drive process improvements with HQ IT requests, while ensuring compliance with Singapore Customs and PSA tariffs.

Ideal for candidates with 1–2 years in shipping/logistics and strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Maritime, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
• 1–2 years of shipping, logistics, or transshipment experience.
• Good understanding of Singapore transshipment operations, PSA tariffs, customs regulations, and regional feeder networks.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage Singapore transshipment (inbound & outbound) operations.
• Support and guide Malaysia transshipment staff, including handling operational exceptions and emergencies.
• Monitor dwell time and control operational costs, including PSA-related charges (e.g. re-nomination, shut-out, storage rent).
• Prepare operational reports and perform data analysis.
• Drive process improvement initiatives and coordinate IT enhancement requests with HQ.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore Customs regulations and transshipment requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of Southeast Asia feeder networks to support operational planning.
