Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation Management, or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in transportation, logistics, or 3PL/4PL operations.
• Strong knowledge of transportation regulations, fleet management, route optimization, GPS tracking, and telematics systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and transportation management systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and collaborate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate daily transportation and logistics operations to ensure work orders and materials are received, processed, and distributed efficiently and on time.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor transportation activities, including route planning, delivery scheduling, and vehicle utilization.
• Liaise with customers on delivery commitments, provide schedule updates, and develop delivery plans to ensure timely fulfillment.
• Work closely with warehouse, production, and delivery teams to ensure work orders are picked, prepared, and dispatched according to schedule.
• Supervise transport vendors and service providers to ensure compliance with contractual, operational, and safety requirements.
• Ensure vehicle readiness through regular inspections, and maintenance coordination.
• Monitor transportation costs and implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining service quality.
• Analyze transportation performance, identify delays or disruptions, and implement corrective actions.
• Plan and implement improvements to logistics processes, transportation flows, and procedures.
• Communicate updated schedules and delivery information to stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, company policies, safety standards, and telematics requirements.
• Maintain accurate transportation records and MIS reports for management review.
• Monitor service quality and KPIs to support continuous improvement.
• Handle transportation-related escalations and urgent delivery requirements.
• Build relationships with customers, vendors, and internal departments to support operations.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management.
