Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy, Tax, or Business; SCTP accreditation is an advantage.
• 8+ years of transfer pricing experience in public accounting or large/medium international consulting firm.
• Extensive transfer pricing experience with strong commercial awareness and risk management expertise.
• Proven track record in managing regional, multi-jurisdictional engagements and client portfolios.
• Excellent project management with budget control, engagement profitability and delivery quality.
• Deep experience advising middle-market enterprises, founder-led/private groups, and international corporates.
• Highly proactive and strategic in a fast-growing, agile advisory environment.
• Proven comfort engaging decision-makers across Asia-Pacific to drive regional mandates.

Responsibilities

• Team Expansion: Recruit, develop, and scale the Transfer Pricing team.
• Coaching & Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and coach junior team members.
• Strategic Development: Expand TP offering and drive cross-network collaboration.
• Portfolio Management: Manage client portfolios and be main contact through engagements.
• Identify commercial opportunities and secure new business to grow market share.

As part of our strategic growth and practice expansion, RSM Singapore is seeking exceptional leaders (Director and Partner levels) to join and shape our growing Transfer Pricing practice, within the Tax Advisory pillar.

This is a premier opportunity for ambitious senior tax professionals, particularly those currently navigating glass ceilings at Big 4 or major advisory firms, to step into high-impact leadership roles. You will have direct ownership in managing a key client portfolio, driving business development, scaling high-performing teams, and building out our regional Transfer Pricing capabilities in a genuinely supportive and collaborative firm culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Expansion: Play a pivotal role in recruiting, developing, and scaling our Transfer Pricing team.
• Coaching & Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and coach junior team members, playing a key role in people development activities to build technical excellence and foster long-term career growth.
• Strategic Development: Collaborate with fellow Partners and Directors to expand RSM's overall transfer pricing offering, driving collaboration across internal and external networks to generate leads.

Business Origination & Client Engagement

• Portfolio Management: Manage a strong portfolio of clients, serving as the main point of contact throughout the engagement cycle and building enduring, trust-based relationships aligned with RSM’s 7Ps value system.
• Commercial Opportunities: Identify key client issues and commercial opportunities for the Firm to capitalize on, playing an active role in securing new business and expanding market share.
• Market Presence: Actively promote team and personal profiles across internal and external networks, industry seminars, publications, and professional committees to enhance firm visibility.

Technical Execution & Engagement Governance

• Engagement Leadership: Oversee and lead complex transfer pricing engagements, including cross-border planning, value chain transformation, documentation, supply chain structuring, and audit defence.
• Financial & Risk Management: Lead project financial management - developing project budgets, monitoring billing, and ensuring profitable and high-quality delivery of client engagements while maintaining strict quality control.
• Firm Leadership: Perform strategic duties and execute key organizational initiatives supporting departmental and firm objectives.

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy, Tax, or Business. SCTP accreditation is an advantage.
• Minimum 8+ years of relevant transfer pricing experience within a public accounting firm or large/medium international consulting firm.
• Extensive experience in the transfer pricing tax environment, demonstrating excellent technical capabilities, strong commercial awareness, and deep risk management expertise.
• Proven track record in managing regional, multi-jurisdictional engagements, overseeing client portfolios, and driving business origination.
• Excellent project management skills with a strong track record in budget control, engagement profitability, and service delivery.
• Deep experience advising middle-market enterprises, founder-led/private groups, and international corporates.
• Highly proactive, strategic, and comfortable in a fast-growing, agile advisory environment.
• Proven comfort and effectiveness in engaging businesses, decision-makers, and clients across China and the broader Asia-Pacific region to drive and facilitate regional mandates.
