Job summary

PEI is seeking a candidate with a solid grounding in accounting, finance or economics to develop in-depth knowledge of infrastructure projects and private equity companies, along with the financial frameworks that underlie them. The core of the role is transaction analysis.

You will review equity transactions involving unlisted infrastructure and private equity constituents to understand pricing dynamics, global deal flow and valuation levels, and collect transaction-based multiples for use as

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance or economics preferred.
• 2+ years experience in financial analysis, pricing or equity research in financial services.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Understanding of financial accounts; ability to read detailed project documentation.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrate proactive initiative and consistent delivery under deadlines.
• Experience working with financial statements and transaction documentation independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform equity transaction analysis for unlisted infrastructure and private equity assets.
• Assess debt structures, covenants and pricing inputs for debt issuance.
• Research infrastructure projects and PE companies and maintain data in SIPA's database.
• Use and validate an AI tool for day-to-day transaction research and provide feedback.
• Support pricing analysis and transaction intelligence workflows.
