Job summary

Yorktown Systems Group, Inc. seeks a qualified Training System Admin / Operator to support SOCPAC with critical training platforms and mission systems across expeditionary environments and multiple international locations.

The role administers and operates training IT infrastructure and mission equipment, configures sensors and onboard equipment, and supports global classroom and distance learning efforts, with occasional travel. A Top Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or 2-year technical schooling in a related field.
• 7+ years of professional experience administering systems, servers, networks, user accounts, and software environments.
• Experience troubleshooting complex technical issues and coordinating with cybersecurity teams.
• Active Top Secret security clearance.

Summary:
The Unconventional is seeking a qualified Training System Admin / Operator to support the Special Operations Command Pacific (SOCPAC) with critical, non-standard logistical gaps in expeditionary and contested environments for USINDOPACOM, including directorates, subordinate unified commands, component commands, direct reporting units, standing joint task forces, and mission partners.

Specific duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Administers and operates training platforms, IT infrastructure, and mission equipment used for classroom, distance, exercise, and operational systems training
• Configures sensors, antennas, onboard mission equipment, and training environments to support realistic demonstrations and user familiarization
• Supports global classroom, on-the-job, and distance learning; training materials, demonstrations, exercises, operational systems training, mission training, partner-nation documentation, and tailored native-language support
• Supports Training, Exercises, and Experimentation function

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Must possess an Associate's Degree or 2 year technical school in Related Field
• Must possess 7 years relevant professional experience performing activities such as administering systems, servers, networks, user accounts, and software environments, troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining availability, backups, and configuration records, supporting help desk or user support activities, and coordinating with cybersecurity and operations teams

Clearance: Must possess an active Top Secret security clearance

Location: Brisbane, Australia / Hagatna, Guam / Japan / Camp Humphries, Korea / Quezon City, Philippines / Singapore
