Job summary

Yorktown Systems Group, Inc. seeks a qualified Training Specialist to support SOCPAC and USINDOPACOM in expeditionary and contested environments.

The Unconventional, LLC is a wholly‑owned subsidiary of Yorktown Systems Group, Inc., and the role involves delivering classroom, on‑the‑job, and distance learning for platforms, systems, and mission operations. Travel may be required and an active Top Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor's Degree.
• 7 years of relevant professional experience performing activities such as delivering work‑related training and development programs, developing training materials and exercises, evaluating training effectiveness, supporting demonstrations and operational systems training, and coordinating with Government, partner‑nation, and mission stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Delivers classroom, on‑the‑job, and distance learning for platforms, systems, subsystems, and mission operations.
• Supports demonstrations, exercises, operator and maintainer interfaces, normal and degraded modes of operation, and partner familiarization with technologies, procedures, and mission considerations.
• Supports global classroom, on‑the‑job, and distance learning; training materials, demonstrations, exercises, operational systems training, mission training, partner‑nation documentation, and tailored native‑language support.
• Supports Training, Exercises, and Experimentation function.

Job Description

Summary: The Unconventional is seeking a qualified Training Specialist to support the Special Operations Command Pacific (SOCPAC) with critical, non‑standard logistical gaps in expeditionary and contested environments for USINDOPACOM, including directorates, subordinate unified commands, component commands, direct reporting units, standing joint task forces, and mission partners.

Specific duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Delivers classroom, on‑the‑job, and distance learning for platforms, systems, subsystems, and mission operations
• Supports demonstrations, exercises, operator and maintainer interfaces, normal and degraded modes of operation, and partner familiarization with technologies, procedures, and mission considerations
• Supports global classroom, on‑the‑job, and distance learning; training materials, demonstrations, exercises, operational systems training, mission training, partner‑nation documentation, and tailored native‑language support
• Supports Training, Exercises, and Experimentation function

Clearance: Must possess an active Top Secret security clearance

Travel: Some travel will be required
