Enabling Academy aims to bring fresh ideas and build capabilities in the training space to:
- Provide diverse lifelong learning opportunities for persons with disabilities that support them in their personal growth and professional development
- Upskill the network of support – including employers, caregivers, and sector professionals such as job coaches – around persons with disabilities
- Facilitate the practice of accessibility and inclusion among training providers

Duties and Responsibilities
This role supports the strategic development of an inclusive training ecosystem that enhances learning and employment outcomes for persons with disabilities and their network of support. He/she will work closely with internal teams, training providers and sector partners to identify learning gaps, curate training opportunities, expand course offerings, and support the design and implementation of relevant training programmes and initiatives.
These efforts aim to strengthen the relevance, accessibility, and impact of training for persons with disabilities across diverse pathways and support needs.
1. Strategic Development and administration of Training Grant
- Plan, implement and manage Training Grant, including the evaluation of proposals, calls for applications, and monitoring of funded initiatives.
- Analyse learning and participation trends to identify outreach opportunities and learning gaps among persons with disabilities.
2. Training Partner Account Management
- Engage and manage training partners, and work with them to curate training opportunities and expand course offerings.
- Build trusted partnerships and provide guidance to training providers to align their programmes with sector needs.
- Collaborate with training providers to ensure course offerings remain relevant, effective and aligned with emerging skills and employment trends.
3. Development and implementation of training programmes and initiatives
- Structure, plan, and implement training programmes and initiatives for persons with disabilities and their network of support, such as sector train-and-place programmes, and transition support programmes.
- Administer training programmes, including marketing, course administration, outcome tracking, reporting and other related tasks.
- Work with training providers, curriculum developers and subject matter experts to design, review and refresh training curriculum and content.
4. Collaboration with Internal Business Units
- Partner with internal teams to develop learning solutions and establish / enhance the Network of Support (NoS) for persons with disabilities.
5. Stakeholder Engagement
- Engage with persons with disabilities and their network of support such as caregivers and job coaches to understand and address their learning needs.
- Support training needs analysis to assess skills requirements and identify gaps in competencies, systems, capabilities, and training.
6. Additional Responsibilities
- Perform any additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned by the organisation to support its mission and goals.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience
- At least degree holder in any discipline
- Minimally 3 years of relevant working experience
- Applicants who are familiar with the disability sector and training / education industry, would have an added advantage
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate ideas clearly
- Good organisation skills for project management and to ensure tasks are on track and delivered in a timely manner
- Good command of English, able to write, present and communicate well
- Team player with the ability to work under tight deadlines, adaptable to changing circumstances, resourceful in problem solving and meticulous
- Proficient in Outlook, MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint
