Job summary

FONDA GLOBAL ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced BCA approved trainer to conduct and oversee construction training sessions. You will prepare materials, maintain tools, and guide trainees through theory and practical assessments.

After qualification, you will deliver trainings aligned with the BCA syllabus, assess performance, and provide feedback to employers. The role requires initiative, reliability, and willingness to work beyond standard hours.

Qualifications

• Preferably with prior training experience or in supervisory positions.
• Physically and mentally fit.
• At least 2 years working experience in building constructions.
• Minimum ITE Nitec, Trade Diploma issued by BCA Academy or higher.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Able to work independently, work with initiative, and self-motivated to upgrade oneself to meet job requirements.
• Willing to take up more responsibilities for higher self-achievements.
• Willing to work beyond official working hours if required.

Responsibilities

• Before qualification as a BCA approved Trainer, undergo trade trainings (theoretical and practical) per scheduled training time slots.
• Assist in training operations when not performing training, such as preparation of training materials, maintenance of tools & equipment, preparation of documents for test candidates, understudy other approved trainers on teaching process and methodology.
• Upon qualification as BCA approved trainer, conduct trainings to trainees in accordance to BCA approved syllabus and assessment criteria.
• Provide dedicated and close guidance to trainees during practical trainings.
• Provide end of course assessment on the performance of individual trainees and give recommendations to employers if the trainees require additional trainings.
• Give recommendations to improve the existing training process and regularise any irregularities.
• Adhere to training schedules allocated by the Lead Trainer and work as a team with other BCA approved trainers and training assistants
