Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Tanker Broker with a portfolio of business to bring into the role.
• Self-driven mentality with a strong entrepreneurial spirit to pursue business opportunities.
• Meticulous attention to detail in managing chartering processes and documentation.
• Strong negotiation skills demonstrated through successful charter agreements.
• Fluent English speaking skills to facilitate clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop new customer accounts and maintain a strong, active customer base to drive business growth.
• Negotiate voyage charters and charter parties on spot and COA basis for clean and dirty petroleum tankers, including MR to LR2 vessels.
• Research and analyze market trends to adapt strategies effectively in volatile conditions.
• Ensure high performance and on-time delivery of chartering services to meet client expectations.
• Collaborate effectively with team members using positive interpersonal skills to support team objectives.
• Communicate ideas clearly and persuasively to internal and external stakeholders.
