Job summary

Lonza Singapore offers a Career Conversion Program (CCP) to train a Biotechnologist for CGMP cell therapy manufacturing over 15 months. The role involves joining a manufacturing team to execute production steps from media prep to final filling in a cleanroom.

You will undergo structured on-the-job training at participating companies, gain practical CGMP experience, and develop the competencies to operate in a regulated biopharmaceutical environment, with rotating shift duties.

Qualifications

• Degree/ Diploma in a related Science/ Engineering discipline.
• Knowledge of cGMP applications.
• Knowledge of cell culture and aseptic processing within a classified environment.
• Willing to perform rotating 12-hour shift pattern.

Responsibilities

• Complies with site/department EHS standards (policies, rules and regulations).
• Attains a thorough understanding of CGMP principles and clean room practices.
• Maintains in-operation production facilities and equipment: cleaning, sanitization, monitoring, sampling, pH, conductivity.
• Performs solution and medium preparation and aseptic filtration.
• Revival and culturing of cell lines in static flasks and cell factories.
• Harvesting and concentration of cell cultures.
• Final formulation and filling of vials; visual inspection and cryopreservation.
• Participates in aseptic process simulations.
• Completes batch records accurately.
