Kerry Consulting PTE. LTD. is partnering with a global energy company to recruit an experienced LNG Operator in Singapore.

The role covers end-to-end execution of LNG cargoes, including pre-deal planning, nominations, scheduling, loading, discharge, and close-out, with exposure to LPG operations when needed. The ideal candidate holds a Maritime Studies degree and has 4+ years in LNG cargo operations, scheduling, nominations and contract management.

Qualifications

• Degree in Maritime Studies or related discipline required.
• Strong analytical and commercial judgement expected.
• Experience in LNG cargo operations, scheduling and contract management preferred.
• Exposure to LNG shipping, voyage management or ADP negotiation advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end LNG cargo operations from planning to close-out.
• Coordinate nominations, supply scheduling, loading and discharge activities.
• Oversee reconciliation, invoicing and settlement processes for LNG cargoes.
• Support pricing, contract interpretation and new cargo assessments.
• Identify commercial and operational optimisation opportunities and drive improvements.
• Assist LPG operations when required and contribute to digitalisation initiatives.

Description

We are partnering with a global energy company specialising in energy trading, shipping and distribution, with an established international fleet and integrated logistics platform. They are looking for an experienced LNG Operator in Singapore to manage the end-to-end operational execution of LNG cargoes, with additional exposure to LPG operations.

Role

Reporting to the Head of Operations, the LNG Operator will manage the end-to-end operational execution of LNG cargoes, covering pre-deal planning, nominations, supply scheduling, loading and discharge through to reconciliation and close-out. The role will ensure all contractual, commercial and operational obligations are executed accurately and in compliance with relevant policies, while coordinating closely with traders, suppliers, customers, terminals, shipowners, freight counterparties and surveyors. Responsibilities also include monitoring vessel and cargo operations, resolving operational issues, claims and disputes, maintaining accurate invoicing and settlement processes, and supporting pricing, contract interpretation and new cargo assessments. The LNG Operator will also identify commercial, logistical and contractual optimisation opportunities, drive process improvement, automation and digitalisation initiatives, and provide support for LPG operations when required.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Maritime Studies or a related discipline and have at least 4 years of experience in LNG cargo operations, scheduling, nominations and contract management. LNG shipping, voyage management and ADP negotiation exposure is advantageous. Strong commercial judgement, analytical skills, stakeholder management and experience in process improvement, automation or digitalisation are also preferred.
