Job summary

Finiti Partners in Singapore seeks an experienced commodities professional to oversee commercial operations, hedging, and market intelligence across cocoa and related soft commodities. You will manage pricing, quotes, and contract negotiations while tracking hedging, FX exposure, and shipment settlements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pricing models, quotes, and support contract negotiations for prompt and forward trades.
• Track cocoa hedging books, FX exposures, open price fixations, and physical position reporting.
• Monitor global supply-demand fundamentals, terminal market movements, and processing margins to guide desk strategy.
• Manage contract lifecycles from confirmation to settlement, coordinating with Treasury, Operations and Shipping.

Key Responsibilities

• Commercial & BD: Prepare pricing models, handle customer quotes, evaluate trade profitability, and support contract negotiations for prompt and forward trades.
• Hedging & Risk Control: Track cocoa hedging books, FX exposures, open price fixations, and physical position reporting.
• Market Intelligence: Monitor global supply-demand fundamentals, terminal market movements, and processing margins to support desk strategy.
• Trade Execution: Manage contract lifecycles from confirmation to settlement, overseeing shipment schedules and coordinating with Treasury, Operations, and Shipping.

Requirements

• Experience: 4-6+ years in commodity trading, trade execution, commercial operations, or trade control. Experience in soft commodities, cocoa, or food ingredients is preferred.
• Skillset: Strong grasp of physical trade flows, futures/hedging mechanics, FX exposure, and trade finance (LCs, DPs).
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, or related field.
