Job summary

Adecco (Portugal) is recruiting for a trade surveillance specialist in Singapore to monitor Global Financial Markets, review communications, and manage control room operations. You will work with automated systems, maintain compliance, and support automation initiatives.

The role requires 4–6 years in surveillance, strong analytical skills, and collaboration across compliance, business, and technology teams. Exposure to AI-enabled tooling is an advantage; central Singapore location preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related discipline.
• 4–6 years in trade surveillance, compliance monitoring, or control room operations.
• Experience in market conduct and surveillance controls within financial markets.
• Exposure to automated surveillance systems or alert reviews is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Perform trade surveillance monitoring for Global Financial Markets using automated systems and reports.
• Review communications via ECRUISE; conduct voice, email, and tape reviews.
• Ensure timely review of surveillance alerts and escalate breaches when needed.
• Maintain wall-crossing, information barriers, and MNPI procedures; advise on conflicts.
• Prepare management reports and review surveillance exceptions.
• Investigate and document surveillance alerts; ensure timely resolution and escalation.
• Maintain surveillance procedures and adapt to business and market changes.
• Collaborate with tech teams and vendors to improve processes and tools.
• Participate in system implementations and testing (UAT) and integration.
• Design and deploy AI tools to improve efficiency and governance.
