Job summary

Charterhouse Partnership in Singapore is seeking an AVP – Operations / Trade Support to join a growing investment platform team. You will ensure trades move smoothly from order to settlement, identifying issues before they become risks.

The role requires hands-on oversight of Active ETFs, data reconciliations, and collaboration with PMs, Traders, Operations, and external vendors. Proficiency in Excel and Aladdin is highly valued, with exposure to Bloomberg/FactSet/Charles River also beneficial.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in asset management operations.
• Experience in Trade Support or Middle Office roles.
• Strong understanding of the order-to-trade lifecycle.
• Exposure to Active ETFs, equities, fixed income or derivatives valued.
• Advanced Excel; SQL, Python or automation a plus.
• Experience with Aladdin is essential; knowledge of Bloomberg/FactSet helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily trade and investment operations support across Active ETFs and other products.
• Monitor and resolve trade, pricing, data and reconciliation exceptions.
• Collaborate with PMs, Traders, Operations, Technology and vendors to resolve issues.
• Support ETF launches, new products, system changes and testing.
• Manage operational incidents and conduct root-cause analysis.
• Partner with administrators, custodians and other service providers.
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes, strengthen controls and automate tasks.

We are looking for an experienced AVP – Operations / Trade Support professional to join a growing investment platform team in Singapore.

This is a hands‑on role supporting the trade and investment lifecycle, with a particular focus on Active ETFs, operational oversight and working closely with internal investment teams and external service providers.

The role

You will be responsible for ensuring trades and investment activity move smoothly from order through to settlement, while identifying and resolving issues before they become operational risks.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily trade and investment operations support across Active ETFs and other investment products.
• Monitoring and resolving trade, pricing, portfolio, data and reconciliation exceptions.
• Working closely with Portfolio Managers, Traders, Operations, Technology and external vendors to resolve issues efficiently.
• Supporting ETF launches, new products, system changes and testing.
• Managing operational incidents and conducting root‑cause analysis to prevent recurring issues.
• Partnering with administrators, custodians and other service providers to maintain strong service and operational standards.
• Identifying opportunities to simplify processes, strengthen controls and automate manual activities.
• 8-10 years of working experience.
• Experience in Trade Support, Middle Office, Investment Operations, ETF Operations or Fund Operations within an asset management environment.
• Strong understanding of the order‑to‑trade and investment lifecycle.
• Exposure to Active ETFs, equities, fixed income or derivatives is highly valued.
• Comfortable working with investment data, reconciliations, pricing and resolving complex operational breaks.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across front office, operations, technology and third‑party providers.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with SQL, Python or automation is a plus.
• BlackRock Aladdin experience is essential. Knowledge of Bloomberg, FactSet, Charles River, MSCI Barra or Eikon is advantageous.
