Job summary

ONYX SG PTE. LTD., a Fortune 500 MNC in the oil & gas sector, seeks a Trade Support Officer (Biofuels) to join its growing team in Singapore.

The role covers trade-related support from trader assistance, interdepartmental communications for payment arrangements and price confirmation, and accounting/administrative tasks including journal entries and risk management activities. Report to the Trade Support Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or Supply Chain (or equivalent).
• At least 1 year internship/experience in Oil & Gas or energy with trading/finance knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of Incoterms and UCP 600.

Responsibilities

• Assist traders and support related activities across departments.
• Communicate with customers and internal teams for payment arrangements and price confirmation.
• Provide accounting and administrative support, including journal entries.
• Support timely and accurate execution of transactions and risk management.
• Report to Trade Support Manager.

Aspartofa25-manteam,theTradeSupportOfficer(Biofuels)willberesponsibleforallthetraderelatedsupportingactivitiesfromassistanceoftraders,communicationwithcustomers/withindepartmentsforpaymentarrangementtopriceconfirmingandaccountingadministrativesupport.ReportingtotheManager,TradeSupport,theincumbentisexpectedtoexecuteassigneddutiesinensuringtimelyandaccurateexecutionoftransactionsandnecessaryvariousriskmanagementactivitiesandjournalentries.

Successfulcandidatescanexpecttoworkinafast -pacedworkenvironmentwithgreatcareeropportunitiesinternally.
